Some artwork titles and descriptions on the art screen showed raw web codes instead of the characters they stand for - & in place of an ampersand, and the like, exactly as the art site encodes them. Every title, artist name and description now passes through the platform's decoder before it reaches the screen, so Still Life & Flowers reads the way the painter named it. Searching by a name that contains one of those characters now finds it too.

In room automation, a new control room opens with the next free join number already suggested - but until you press Save, that number is only a suggestion, and the Add-device and Import screens rightly treat the room as having none: their join fields open empty. Nothing said why. Now the room panel marks the number as proposed only the moment it appears, and the device dialog explains the empty fields and points you at the Save button instead of leaving you to guess.

The guest Settings menu has a new Music section: one press starts your first favourite station, another stops it, and while it plays the section shows which station is on. Settings opens from any page, so a guest can put the music on - or turn it off - without walking to the Music page and back again. The section appears only on boards that have a Music widget for it to take the station from.

With a station playing in the background, the remote's play/pause button now pauses it from any page - and pressing it again brings it back. Before, the button only worked while you were on the music page itself; anywhere else the press simply vanished. Pages with their own player keep their own behaviour: on a film or a channel the button controls the video, and on the art screen it still pauses only the picture.

The music player now has a Turn the screen off row, right under the keep-playing setting: start a station, turn the picture off, and listen in a dark cabin. The same thing is also an action you can give any menu item - a card on a page menu, a choice in a modal question, anywhere a menu item goes. It paints the screen black while everything underneath keeps running. Any button on the remote brings the picture back. That last part also repairs the older black screen, which lifted only on a click - on a screen driven by a remote alone there was no way out of it. Worth knowing: this is a black picture, not a power cut - the panel stays on, so an OLED goes truly black and an LCD goes very dark grey.

The gallery menu behind the art screen - its tabs, its settings, the timing pills, the art categories, every heading and button - was English on every display, in every country. It now follows the guest's language like the rest of the system, in all 27. Names are left exactly as they are: an artist is called what they are called, and Artvee is a brand, not a word to translate.

With music playing behind the art screen, pressing play/pause paused the picture and killed the music - one button, two things, and the wrong second one. The cause was a music player set to appear on every page: it answered a press meant for the picture even on pages where it is not shown. Widgets shown board-wide now know when they are actually on screen, so a key belongs to whatever the guest is looking at.

With a station playing and keep playing on, returning to the music page briefly silenced your station and then started the property's default one in its place - your choice was overwritten by a page you only walked back into. The page now recognizes music that is already playing and leaves it exactly as it is; the automatic start still greets you with music when nothing was playing at all.

Once a guest had opened the music page even once, the remote's mute button stopped muting video: on a film or a TV channel it silently changed the room volume setting instead, and the video played on out loud. Mute now follows the player actually on screen, and still mutes background music when there is nothing else making sound.

Pages now have the same Use theme color background option widgets have: pick it and the page explicitly follows the display theme instead of carrying its own colour. The dashboard editor previews it faithfully - a page set to Use theme color now shows the theme background in the editor too, the same one the screen will paint, and a page set to None previews the black it will actually be.

A menu item can now be a Modal window (menu): pick it as the Action Type and choose which modal question it opens. The picker only offers menus actually set up as modals, and if none exist yet it tells you how to make one. A modal question never shows the X in the corner - the ways out are BACK or one of the choices, exactly as a question should behave - and BACK and Cancel always just cancel, never confirm.

On the darker display themes a dialog menu could draw its text in a colour nearly identical to its own panel - unreadable. Dialog menus now pair their text with the panel the way the theme intends. The thin focus ring around the highlighted row also lost its top edge inside scrolling dialogs - it now draws complete. And in the dashboard, the general Text Color setting finally has a proper empty state with a Reset button, so a widget can go back to following the display theme instead of being stuck on a colour you never chose.

A menu in the dialog style can now be a real modal: while it is open the screen belongs to it - the board menu cannot open over the top, and the only ways out are BACK or one of the choices. BACK always just closes the question - the same as Cancel, never firing a choice - so the most instinctive button on the remote can never confirm something by accident. And one or two choices can be drawn as buttons in a row rather than a list - which is how you get an information window with a single OK, or a two-choice question. Each choice still does anything a menu item can do: open a page, launch an app, recall a scene, call a steward.

A new widget that draws just the panel - the same glass every control panel draws - or only its contour, with nothing inside. Put it behind other widgets, block out an area, or give a page a surface to sit on. It can carry one fixed picture as a background, and it takes the same look settings as the control panels, so it matches them exactly rather than approximately. Nothing on it can be pressed, and the remote never lands on it.

The source row on the Entertainment page now shows your whole list in every room, with the ones a room is not wired for shown greyed. Before, a room missing one source pulled all the others along, so the same source sat in a different place from room to room and your hand had to learn each one. Now Satellite is always where Satellite is - one row to learn for the whole boat. A greyed source cannot be pressed and the remote steps straight over it, so nothing you can actually reach ever moves.

The screen that pulls a Crestron Home processor's devices onto your board was rebuilt around the question it is actually asking. Devices are grouped by the processor's own rooms, with one choice per group - everything here goes to... - and the room you opened it from comes first. It names the processor it is reading, and says why another controller on the board has nothing to import. A device whose name already exists in the target room now says so in words, naming the other processor it came from - because two processors each having a "Ceiling" is two real devices, not a mistake. It also catches one circuit wearing two names - Dimmer Main against Main Dimmer - and asks whether they are the same thing, rather than quietly creating a second control for one dimmer. Any row that would double a control you already have starts unticked, with the reason beside it, so the count you see is the count you meant. The button tells the truth - Import 5 of the 7 ticked - and any row that is not counted explains itself where you are looking. Rooms whose names differ by a single letter, Owner Cabin against Owners Cabin, now match.

Automatic translation is very good at sentences and can be very wrong about names - a room your installer called Terrace Owners Cabin came back in Italian as "the cabin of the terrace owners". Your board settings now hold your own words: write a name the way it should read in any language and it is used exactly as you typed it, ahead of everything else. A name that should never be translated at all - a brand, a boat, a suite - gets Never translate and is shown as written in all 27 languages. Only the words you claim are affected; everything else keeps translating as it did.

Press OK on any scene - on a room-control page or the Home scene row - and the scene now runs on screen: its own icon and name over the tiles with a filling progress bar, and no second scene can be fired until it finishes. One press, one mood, no stacking two moods on top of each other by accident.

The room-control cards on your Home page are now read-only by default: each one shows the live state - On/Off for Lights, On/Off with the set point for Climate, Open/Closed for Shades, On/Off with the playing source for Entertainment - and OK still opens the category page. Up and down on the remote now travel the page instead of adjusting, because the cards sit exactly where the cursor passes and one stray press used to switch a whole room off. Owners who want the inline control back turn on Adjust from this card in the widget settings, per card.

The Climate page turns between a suite's zones, and now it says which one you are looking at - the room or sub-room name sits over the readings, on the same line the Lights page draws its own room names, so the two pages read as one system.

Two rooms that happened to switch on their own AV at the same time could light the party mark and offer to "end" a party nobody had started - and confirming that offer would have silenced other cabins. A party is now claimed only by an actual Start, and released by End; switching your own TV on can never counterfeit one again.

Put a second widget on a Lights, Climate, Shades or Entertainment page - a Room Volume pinned across every page, say - and the remote can now walk to it. Press BACK from the control panel and the cursor steps to the next thing on the page before it reaches the menu, which is how every other screen on the system has always behaved; the room-control pages were the one family that jumped straight to the menu and left anything else on the page stranded. And moving down past the scenes continues to it too, exactly as on the Home page. Nothing changes on a page where the panel is on its own, which is most of them.

Volume no longer lives only on the Entertainment page. Room Volume is a control you can drop anywhere - beside the room control cards on a Home page, on a bedside page, wherever a guest actually reaches for it. It comes in three shapes, chosen in its settings: a slider row - the same line the Entertainment page draws, built from the same pieces - a standing slider for a tall narrow space, or a tile that lines up with the Room Control Cards. Either way it carries quieter, louder, mute and all off, and it fits whatever rectangle you give it: too narrow for everything, and it drops the reading, then the label, before it will ever shrink the slider. It controls this room - not the terrace, not the sub-zones - so its reading is the same number the Entertainment page shows. Dragging the slider moves every zone by the same step, so the balance your installer set between a ceiling pair and a bar speaker survives. The volume moves along the slider - left and right on the row, up and down on the standing one - exactly like every volume on the Entertainment page, and the other axis steps across mute and all off before travelling on to the next widget. Mute remembers where each zone was and puts it back on the second press, even if the guest muted from the Entertainment page and unmutes here. All off never asks a question, because the only cabin it can silence is the one you are standing in. Needs the automation module and AV zones mapped to the room.

The wizard's Rooms step used to create every room the moment you pressed Next - up to 500 of them, each with its own screen. It now asks first, and shows exactly what is about to exist: how many rooms, and the first and last name in the range - so a wrong prefix or a wrong starting number is caught before every room carries it. To go ahead you type the number of rooms, which makes the step impossible to click through by reflex. Rooms come back out one at a time, so the moment is worth it.

A party now has its own chip on the room strip, beside the areas - and only in rooms you have allowed to start one. Press it and the screen becomes the party alone: who is joining tonight, the source, the master volume and each room's own level, with nothing else in the way. The original route is untouched - scroll past the last AV row on All areas and the party is still exactly where it was. While your cursor is on the party its chip is ringed, the same mark the strip already uses for the room you are standing in.

Lights, Climate, Shades and Entertainment now share the same master column down the left of the page, in the same place on every one of them, carrying whatever that page's "everything" controls are: volume, mute and all off for AV, all on / all off for lights, open, stop and close for shades. It says what it will act on - the whole area, or just the room you have filtered to - and one press of BACK reaches it from anywhere on the page. Motors are now confirmed, never nudged: on a shade, curtain or TV lift the arrow keys move a highlight across close / stop / open and OK is what actually moves it, with the highlight resting on stop so the one press that matters is always the next one. Each room's controls also stay together on a single screen, so a room's volume is never a page turn away from its power.

Edit Board has a new Useful Info tab holding the things you need at the moment you are looking at a board and never have to hand: how to reach the owner menu on a display, what to do when one screen still shows the old version after a release, and direct links to the guides, the TV app and the kiosk setup scripts for Fire TV and Google TV. It is reference only - nothing on the tab changes anything - and it is shown to the board owner.

Open a channel and the info card now shows what is on right now and what is next - programme names, in the channel's own language. It covers the free channel platforms: Samsung TV+, Plex and Roku, where we have a programme guide for almost every channel we carry. Channels without a guide - your own custom entries and the language lists - look exactly as they did. This is a "now and next" line, not a week-long TV grid: the guide these platforms publish runs about a day ahead.

Start a film on the tablet, finish it on the TV. Continue Watching is now kept for the room instead of for one screen, so every display in a suite or a cabin shows the same place in the same title - the way My List already worked. Series get watched ticks on the episodes already seen, so picking up a season is one glance instead of guesswork. And a title you opened but did not want no longer sits in the row forever: press Down on the card and OK on Remove to clear it. At checkout everything here is erased - viewing positions are guest data and never pass to the next guest, whatever the other checkout settings keep.

A handful of labels in the film and series hub - Continue Watching, Where to watch, You May Also Like, the season and episode headings and the empty-list notes - were still shown in English whatever language a guest had chosen. They are now translated across all 27 languages, like the rest of the hub.

The film hub's bottom bar had two buttons that did nothing when a guest pressed OK. Downloads has been replaced by Unwatched, which hides the titles a guest has already finished - useful the moment a series is half-watched. Menu has become Sort, which cycles the order and shows the current one on the button itself, so the three sort chips could come off the top row and leave more space for the posters.

When a channel search found more results than fit on screen, the highlight kept moving down but the list stayed still - so the selection disappeared below the edge and the search looked frozen. The results now scroll with the cursor, and the panel holds one size instead of growing and shrinking as you type - it shows four results at a time and scrolls through the rest.

A guest who chose a second weather location could see the wrong place name above the right temperature - the room's own city with a reading taken somewhere else. The name and the reading now always come from the same measurement, including in the moment a newly chosen location is still loading.

Typing a place name into the weather widget left the provider to guess which one you meant - and it often guessed wrong. Searching for Rome can mean Rome in Italy, Rome in New York or Rome in Georgia, and typing minorca was returning a small town in Louisiana rather than the Spanish island. There is now a search under the Location field: it lists the real candidates with their region and country, you pick the one you meant, and the widget pins its exact coordinates so the reading can never drift to another place. Guests get the same search on the TV: type a place with the remote and the menu lists the candidates to pick from, exactly like the dashboard - with "use as typed" still there for places the map does not know. You can still type a place name, a postcode, or coordinates directly.

The user menu now has a direct Contact Support entry that opens the support form - next to the getting-started and kiosk setup guides that were already there.

The user menu offered FeedVay's release notes to every product. Each product now sees only its own What's New.

Adding a second screen to a room - a tablet, a phone, another TV - no longer needs the dashboard. The new screen shows its activation code as before, and now every screen the room has already activated shows an approval prompt: the same code, one question, and one OK press allows it. Approve only what you started yourself - the codes must match - and the dashboard and QR paths keep working exactly as before. The first screen of a room is still activated by you, so a room never opens itself.

On a tablet the Live TV menu closed itself after a minute even while a guest was scrolling through it. It only ever noticed remote presses, and a finger moving the list counted as nothing. Scrolling by touch now keeps the menu open for as long as you are using it, and it still tidies itself away a minute after you stop - unchanged on the TV and on a computer, where a mouse simply passing over the panel is still not treated as use.

With Sync devices on, radio has always mirrored across a room's screens - the music catalog did not, and starting a track on the tablet actually silenced the other screen. Now a track pressed on one screen plays on every screen in the room, and pause, resume and stop follow from either side. The screens keep the same running order, so when a track ends they move to the same next one together. The panel now matches what is playing, too: a screen left on Radio while a track starts - or on the catalog while a station starts - follows the music instead of showing the wrong player. And the left-hand sections mirror too: picking Music, Radio or any other section on one screen now shows it on every screen in the room, exactly as the Live TV sections already do.

With Sync devices on, the Quad wall now mirrors across the room like everything else. Opening Quad on the tablet opens it on the TV; switching to another quad, changing a screen's channel, naming, adding or deleting a wall all land on every screen in the room at once, instead of the other screen finding out later or not at all. Which screen you are listening to and full screen follow too, so the room stays on the same picture and the same sound. Switching sections with the remote now mirrors as well - Live TV, Movies, Series and the Streaming Guide included, where before only a tap did.

On the room control home, when the room system stopped responding the warning and the Press BACK line printed on top of each other, and both were too faint to read against the room photo. The warning now sits clearly at the top of the scene buttons, and the BACK line reads properly in every look - on the Lights, Climate, Shades and Entertainment panels too, where the same line was just as faint.

Pressing Menu while browsing Movies, Series or the Streaming Guide opened the channel menu behind the poster wall - invisible, but still holding the remote. The cursor vanished and nothing on screen responded until the guest found their way out. The menu now stays out of the way on those screens, and the cursor never leaves the wall.

The Live TV / Movies / Series row opened with Back stayed on screen for as long as the guest left it there. It now clears itself 8 seconds after the last press - the same pause the channel card already uses - so the picture goes clean on its own, and Back brings the row straight back.

A title page used to show little more than the year and the genres. It now carries the age rating, an audience score, and who made it - Directed by and Starring - all in the guest's own language. Series episodes gain thumbnails in place of a plain list, so a season reads at a glance. A More info button opens the full synopsis and the complete cast on their own page, for the guest who wants the detail without crowding the one who does not.

Every tab of the Watch hub - Live TV, a film catalogue, the Streaming Guide, Quad view - now has its own Visibility on subtokens setting, exactly like a menu card. Put Quad view in the suites only, keep a private catalogue to the owner's cabin, or give one wing a channel list the rest of the property never sees. Tabs with nothing set stay visible everywhere, so existing boards are untouched.

A board can carry thousands of channels, and until now the only way to one was scrolling the list until it appeared. A Search stop now closes the channel list, right after your last group: press OK and spell out a name with the remote. Matches narrow as you go, and OK on one tunes straight to it and puts the list away.

The card that names the channel on screen was sized by its contents, so it grew and shrank as guests zapped: a long name made it wider and pushed it onto a second line, and a channel with no logo drew a shorter card altogether. It now keeps one size on every channel, with long names trimmed neatly to two lines.

On boards driving more than one control system - traditional Crestron next to Crestron Home, and every system to come - one processor going offline used to gray out the whole room: every panel disabled and "the room system is not responding", even for the system that was perfectly healthy. Panels now judge by their own devices' system: circuits on the live processor keep working normally, rows on the offline one show honestly as unknown until it returns, and each panel's connection light tells the truth for exactly what it controls.

On a tablet or touch screen, the on-screen Back, Menu and OK buttons stopped responding as soon as a panel was open - the Settings Hub above all, but equally the theme, layout and language pickers, network info, the favourites manager and each widget's own panel. The buttons were still visible, so it looked like they had simply stopped working, and a guest inside the hub was left with no way out by touch. They now stay on top of every panel and keep working throughout, exactly as the remote does. The optional on-screen remote is corrected the same way, including over full-screen video, where it had the same problem.

Quad walls are now saved per room instead of per device: every TV in the room shows the same quads, and they survive restarts, device swaps and reinstalls. They follow the same "persist across display resets" rule as the channel favourites, so at checkout they reset - or survive - exactly as your favourites policy says.

Guests can now give each quad a name ("NEWS", "SPORT") on the familiar on-screen keyboard. The name appears on the quad switcher, on the screen chip and in the channel menu ("Add to NEWS"). A new Delete quad action - with the same press-again-to-confirm guard as Clear - removes a wall, and the action bar is reorganized for clarity: quad actions first, then the screen chip and its channel actions, in a steady layout that never shifts as names change.

A new action on the Rooms tab downloads a room's guest data - favourites, watchlists, Home pins, quad walls, weather locations - as a single JSON file, and imports such a file into any room, on the same property or another one. Prepare favourites and quads once, load them anywhere. The import shows exactly what the file holds, lets you pick which parts to bring in, and only ever adds - nothing already in the room is replaced or duplicated.

The Live TV experience is now fully translated: channel menus, the Watch hub tabs, quad controls, on-screen hints and the remote help all follow the guest's language - across 27 languages. Labels you type in the dashboard (section names, playlist names) are translated automatically on the TV as well.

Crestron Home boards get Import from processor on Rooms & devices: one click asks the processor for everything it knows - lights, dimmers, shades, thermostats and scenes - and lays it all out for review, rooms already matched by name and every device keeping the name the installer gave it. Untick what guests should not see, adjust a room or a label, import. Thermostats arrive with their own mode list so the TV never offers a mode the system cannot do, already-mapped devices are marked so nothing doubles up, and a name clash inside a room is flagged for a quick rename - never renamed automatically.

The Crestron kit tab's Home guide gains a Handover report download: the complete mapping - which button on the TV drives which device on the processor, room by room, scenes included - plus the connection and credential story and a short what-if-it-stops list. Regenerate it any time from the live mapping, ready for the dealer's binder.

Boards can now drive Crestron Home processors (CP4-R and MC4-R) as a choice next to traditional Crestron. There is nothing to program and nothing to compile: create the API token in the Crestron Home Setup app, add the controller with the processor's address and that token (stored encrypted), and map devices by picking them straight off the processor's own list - lights, dimmers, shades and thermostats, named exactly as the installer named them. A Crestron Home scene becomes a button on the TV. Changes made from wall keypads or the Crestron Home app show up on the room screens too, and the Crestron kit tab now shows a commissioning guide matched to this path - pair, pick, test.

The Crestron kit is now a numbered guide in the order the work actually happens - install the connector, download the program, compile and load it, point the board at the processor, test the whole chain, go live on real circuits - each step already filled in with that board's own port, address and rooms. It ends with a troubleshooting list for the things that really go wrong. The connector itself can now be installed on a Windows machine as well as Linux, with ready-to-copy commands for both and a plain description of what a healthy start looks like.

One download from the board's Crestron kit now contains the complete processor program: the network server on the board's own port, the communication modules, one bridge per room and a virtual load for every mapped device - every signal already wired and named after the board's own rooms and devices, grouped in per-room folders. Open it in SIMPL Windows, compile, load: the whole installation rehearses on the processor before a single circuit is wired, and going live means replacing a virtual load with the real one on the same named signals. Every file is stamped with the board's own identity, so programs from different installations can never mix.

The name shown on every room screen is set in one field that used to be called Hotel Name. It is now Property Name - a hotel, a yacht, a villa and a residence are all properties. Nothing changes on existing boards: the stored name and the {{LOOKVAY_hotelName}} template keep working exactly as before.

On TV sticks, the channel card shown while zapping could climb into the "Live TV / Satellite" tab band at the top of the hub. It now sits a little lower, clear of the tabs, without covering the channel strip.

Replacing the vessel connector used to disconnect the working one the moment the button was pressed - before the new machine was even set up. Now the current connector keeps working until the new one is actually paired: the swap happens only at that moment, a pending replacement can be cancelled at no cost, and revoking now asks twice before disconnecting anything.

In the Infotainment hub, a section that shows one of your own board pages could trap the Back button. The first press returned to the list on the left exactly as it should, and then Back did nothing at all - no menu, no way off the page - until the guest moved to a different section. Back now walks the whole way out, every time: the page, then the list of sections, then the room's menu, then wherever the guest came from.

When favourites play continuously, each video the playlist chains into can now start a chosen distance in - from the very start up to 90% of the way through, in 5% steps. Set the default with a slider in the video widget's dashboard settings; guests can adjust it from the video player's menu on the TV, and their choice holds on that screen until checkout. The video a guest opens themselves always starts from the beginning - only the chained ones skip ahead.

A board can now be marked as a demo board in its Display settings. Every session of that board's screen then runs for the time you choose - a small countdown sits in the corner, and at zero the screen stops and shows a sign-up card with a QR code. The limit belongs to the board itself, so it applies however the screen is opened, including the display link on its own. Reloading simply starts a new session. In the dashboard a demo board's card is framed in red with a DEMO badge, so it can never be mistaken for a live installation. Off by default, so real installations are untouched.

Turning the clock's seconds or date on or off in the dashboard could look ignored: the board editor was reading the in-room choices a TV remembers (the on-TV clock menu) instead of your saved settings, so the clock on your screen kept its old face. The editor now always shows the clock exactly as you configured it; each TV still honours the choices made in its own room until they are reset. The TV's Settings hub was polished the same way: its Clock & Date rows now report what the clock is really showing instead of assuming seconds and date are always on.

Touching a volume slider - with the mouse, or by landing on it with the remote - could leave the screen unresponsive: the highlight stopped moving and the keys did nothing, and then the volume changed on its own while the guest was somewhere else entirely. The sliders no longer keep hold of the screen's focus, so the remote keeps working at all times and the volume only moves when the guest is actually on the volume control. Corrected on the music volume, the live TV player's volume and the display zoom control.

After visiting the live TV page, its channel menu kept listening to the remote from the background: back on another page, arrow presses could change the room volume by themselves, jam it so it would not go up, or silently switch the TV's playlist - and it looked random, because it depended on where the TV menu had been left. A page that is not on screen now ignores the remote completely, so every press does exactly one thing: what the page in front of you says it does.

In the video player's menu, the favourite button now comes first - it is the choice guests open that menu to make - with the volume just below it. On boards without guest favourites the menu opens on the volume, exactly as before.

Deleting a widget or a page now checks the whole board first. If a menu card, the MENU button, the room favourites, the screensaver or another page still uses it, you see a plain-language list of exactly what would stop working - and every entry is a link: click it and the dashboard takes you to where it lives, with the widget highlighted, so you can look before you decide. Anything that would visibly break asks for one extra confirmation; harmless leftovers are only listed. And a delete never quietly rewires the rest of the board - what you asked to remove is removed, everything else stays exactly as you built it.

The information screen's side menu is no longer a fixed list. Add as many entries of your own as you like - each one opens either a page of your board or a web address, and it opens inside the panel, so the guest keeps the menu beside it and Back returns them to it. Give each entry a name, a short description and an icon, reorder them, or hide one without deleting it. The usual way to use it: build a hidden page with whatever you want to show - a video, photos, a price list, house rules - and point an entry at it. The page is drawn at its real size and scaled to fit the panel, so it keeps the layout you designed, and the guest can work it with the remote exactly as they would anywhere else.

The video widget now has its own Volume setting, like Live TV, Music and the other players. Until now it was the only sound widget without one, so it always played at the middle setting - noticeably louder than widgets you had tuned down. Set it once and the video sits at the same loudness as the rest of the board; the guest's own volume still moves everything together from there. Existing boards are unchanged until you move the slider.

On many TVs the remote's volume keys drive the TV itself and never reach the app - so every widget now has the room volume one Menu press away, exactly as Live TV always has. Press Menu while watching and the controls appear: left and right adjust, OK mutes. It works the same in Live TV, movies and series, the video players and YouTube, and the level bar shows on screen wherever the volume moves. In Music the volume joined the remote's path too - step right past the playback controls to reach it. Every one of these surfaces now shows the same single number - how far the room sits above or below the level you tuned, with 0 marking exactly your setting - so a guest sees one volume for the room instead of a different reading in each widget.

Skipping through a video now works the same everywhere: left and right jump 10 seconds, up and down jump 30, and rewind/fast-forward repeat the 10-second step for remotes without channel keys - in movies and series, the video widgets and YouTube alike. The channel keys keep changing channels on live TV and turning pages in lists, and inside a playing video they act as the 30-second jump.

A new Privacy section in the Settings Hub lets a guest remove everything the room saved for them - favourites, watchlists, theme, language, text size, clock and volume choices - with a two-step confirmation, while their check-in stays untouched. On properties set to keep favourites across checkout, the wipe honors that protection and a separate Delete my favourites button, with its own double confirmation, lets the guest override it. Streaming apps keep their own sign-in and LookVay never touches it, so the section says so plainly and lists each of the board's apps with a button that opens it for signing out.

Each widget's Volume setting now works as calibration: tune Live TV, Music and the rest once so every source comes out of the TV equally loud. On top sits one room volume knob - remote keys, the display menu, a widget's slider or the Settings Hub all move every sound together, up or down, keeping the balance you tuned, inside the Volume Floor and the new Max Volume you set. A new Start Volume Offset decides where every room begins (and returns to after checkout) - raise it for a crowded hall, lower it for a quiet suite - and a Volume Increment sets how far one press moves. Live TV also gets a Volume tab in its menu, and guest presses no longer overwrite your configured widget volumes.

The clock shown when a guest changes channel used to pick its own format - AM/PM on an English screen even when the board was set to 24 hours - and ignored the guest's own choice. It now follows exactly what the Clock widget follows. Boards set up with the wizard also had clocks falling back to the stick's time instead of the hotel's timezone; they now show the property's real time.

Changing the board's 12 or 24 hour setting now updates every clock that has not been given a format of its own - it used to apply only to clocks added afterwards. Clocks you deliberately set to 12 or 24 hours keep their setting, and a new Auto option hands one back to the board.

Changing the TV language no longer throws the guest into the Favourites list just because a favourite exists - the menu goes back to the channels. A new Channel Menu Opens On setting lets you choose what it opens on: Curated Channels (the new default), Language Channels, Favourites, or one of your own playlists.

When you point a menu entry at a call button or a scene, the lists now show what actually exists on your board: a tick and a count on everything that is really there, and a crossed-out eye on the greyed entries that are not. Any custom-named button or scene appears ready to pick, so reaching one specific device or recording takes no typing. A new Reaches choice decides whether a call button fires every room the screen controls or this screen's own room only.

Every master now reads its truth right beside its controls: All lights says On with the current side lit, All shades reads Open, Closed or the real position - never a fabricated percentage - Entertainment gains an all-off, and Climate an ALL-zones switch. The Home cards' icons fill when something is on or open, lights carry a state bulb on every row, and the active source shows next to the Entertainment toggle.

The remote now walks a clean circle - fixtures, scenes, room filters and back around, in both directions. Climate pages through your zones with the down key with its own page dots, and a filtered master command acts only on what you see; on All it spans every room.

Fixtures shared by every room - a corridor or deck light - now have their own Shared chip on the Lights panel's room filter, right where their rows live. Tap it to see only the shared fixtures; "All lights" keeps acting on the room's own circuits and never touches a shared light.

Every room-control panel now carries a small gray line under its scenes: press BACK to reach the menu. Always there, never in the way - the same quiet footer style as the Live TV menu.

The optional clock on channel switching read the TV box's own clock, which often runs two hours off on UTC. It now follows the board's timezone, exactly like the Clock widget - the two can never disagree again.

With TV text size active, a room panel's rounded glass corner drew slightly rounder than the photo behind it, letting the photo peek out at each corner. The glass now lands exactly on the photo's curve at every zoom level.

Name your vessel's AV inputs once - or one-click them from the built-in list (Apple TV, Satellite, Bluetooth, Radio and more) - and every AV device you map offers them as suggestions, video and audio-only sources told apart: an audio-only source is never suggested onto a screen.

Shade, curtain and TV-lift buttons now draw the left and right remote keys that actually drive them, and every row - including All shades and All curtains - shows its live position right next to the controls: Open, Closed, the exact percentage, or Moving... while it travels.

When you give a room its join number or add a device, the next free numbers are proposed automatically - always checked against everything already in use - so commissioning a terrace or a bathroom takes a click, not a spreadsheet.

Selected chips and buttons on the room-control panels now pick their text color from your accent's own brightness - a deep navy accent gets white text, a light gold gets dark - so every theme and custom color stays readable.

Some national channels only stream inside their home country. Live TV now recognizes the geo-restriction marker in curated channel lists and quietly skips those channels on screens located abroad - no more dead entries that never start. Screens whose private VPN tunnels home keep the full lineup, and the marker itself never shows in a channel's name.

The geo-aware skip now knows where each screen actually is. National channels that only stream in their home country stay visible on screens located in that country - an Italian hotel keeps Rai and Mediaset, a Spanish one keeps La 1 and La 2 - while screens abroad still skip them, unless their private VPN tunnels home.

The channel card that appears when a guest changes channel can now also show the current time and date, in the room's language. Switch it on per widget with the new "Show clock and date on channel change" setting - nothing changes until you enable it.

Channels whose playlist entry declares no category - or only a technical placeholder like "Undefined" or "Uncategorized" - used to show that placeholder in the category menu and on the channel card. They now read a friendly "General" everywhere.

Two rare ways a TV could power on to a dark screen are gone. A display whose very first load caught the network before it was ready now keeps retrying by itself until the board appears - no more opening the hidden admin menu to relaunch it. And a display asked to show a page that no longer exists - a menu link to a deleted page, or a screen just moved to a different board - now falls back to the first page instead of going dark.

The Shades page now leads with group rows: All shades and All curtains, each with its own close, stop and open. One press drives the whole family at once, OK stops everything mid-travel, and covers already at the end of their travel are left alone. Every row also gained a proper graphic - a roller-shade or drape icon that visibly closes when the cover reports closed - with close and open arrows following each family's real travel direction: shades run down and up, curtains draw left and right.

Pressing OK on a category card occasionally did nothing and moved the highlight to another card - a background refresh was silently resetting the remote-control cursor. The room control pages now ride out those refreshes, so OK always opens the page you selected.

The Entertainment page's source picker no longer draws two selection outlines at once - the row keeps the cursor ring, and the highlighted source shows a slim inner accent instead.

Rooms fitted with heating, curtains or an AV system can now be controlled from the screen the same way lights already are. The shade opens, stops mid-travel and closes; the climate panel shows the real room temperature and moves it toward the set point; the AV panel switches power, source and volume. Setting these up in the dashboard now offers the matching connection fields for each type of device, including the AV source list.

Reordering pages no longer needs a Save - each move is kept the moment you make it, exactly like dragging the page tabs always did. Drag a row or use the arrows and simply close when you are done.

Pasting a page used to leave you looking at the original, which made it look like nothing had happened. The editor now opens the new copy straight away.

A new, copied or pasted page used to start with the board's persistent widgets - logo, menu bar, ticker - switched off, so a freshly added page looked oddly bare and nothing explained why. Now you pick them one by one, with All and None a click away: keep the logo and the menu bar, leave the side rail off this page. The same chooser appears in the New Page dialog and when you paste, everything ticked by default. Boards with no persistent widgets are never asked.

The glyph on a room control card and on every scene tile is now yours to pick, from the same searchable icon list the menu editor uses. Each field arrives prefilled with the icon the widget already draws, so you can see what you are changing - and clearing it puts the standard icon straight back. Scene icons are set once and apply to that widget's tiles wherever they appear.

The icon list gained the outlined blinds glyph the Shades panel itself uses, and a proper set of home automation icons for a menu item that opens your room control pages - so the tile that leads to the room's controls can finally look like it.

In the Infotainment Local Guide, a second highlight could stay behind on the category you came from, sitting there while the real one moved with the remote. The highlight is now drawn from the screen's actual state at all times, so exactly one thing is ever highlighted - on the guide, the crew list and the scene tiles alike.

The highlight around the first place card in the Local Guide - and the first name in the crew list - was being shaved flat along its top edge by the list's own scrolling frame. Both now have room to draw the full outline.

On the Welcome card, the font size set the size of the guest name line and scaled the rest around it - so on a card where the guest line is switched off, typing a big number barely moved the text and no value could reach the size you wanted. It now sets the size of the largest line actually on screen, with the other lines keeping their proportion. Cards showing the guest name are unchanged.

Font Weight in Text Formatting had no effect on text widgets or the Welcome card - the setting was saved and then ignored. Light through Bold now render as chosen. Existing widgets are untouched.

A Welcome card line can carry its own colour, which deliberately overrides the widget's Text Color - but nothing said so, so changing Text Color looked broken. The card's Content tab now names the lines carrying their own colour and offers a single Use Text Color button to hand them all back to the widget setting.

A menu item can now recall any room scene or fire a call button - "call the steward" on a single press - through the same secure per-room authorization the Room Lights widget uses. Scenes are addressed by name and call buttons by their role, never by a specific device, so one menu works unchanged in every room. Call buttons are a new device type mapped in the Automation tab: one momentary pulse on a processor join. The old Crestron menu command and its open relay are fully retired in favour of this authorized path.

The art widget can now pull straight from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's open collection: paintings, landscapes, portraits, Asian art, photographs, drawings and prints, ancient and Islamic art. Every image is verified public domain before it appears, arrives at full museum resolution, and carries the artist, title and year on the caption line. No account and no API key - and your existing art widgets keep working exactly as they are.

Scenes now keep one order everywhere: the shipped Welcome-to-Good-bye sequence by default, or exactly the order you set with the new arrows in the scene list - every room screen follows. Sub-rooms now sit indented under their main room in every room list of the Automation tab, and copying devices to a room that has no join number yet simply assigns it the next free one - offsets computed for you, nothing to type.

Widget settings now include a Size & Position panel: type exact pixel values for X, Y, width and height instead of nudging by hand - or pick any widget from any page of the board and copy its size and position in one click. Building multi-page dashboards where panels must sit in exactly the same spot on every page - a menu bar, a lights panel, a logo - is now a ten-second job. Nothing moves until you press Save.

A sub-zone - a terrace or bathroom screen that belongs to a room - is part of that room, so the guest is checked into the room, never the sub-zone. The Rooms tab no longer shows check-in and check-out actions or an occupancy state on sub-zone rows, and the room dialog hides the guest field as soon as a parent room is picked. The server enforces the same rule, so no path can check a guest into a terrace by mistake.

Tuning a channel from a favourite now changes the channel on the room's other displays, exactly like picking it from the channel list - including favourites whose channel has since left the live line-up.

A playing video - a live channel, a movie, an episode, a trailer - now keeps the screen saver and the energy-saving dim away until playback actually stops. Before, a long movie with no remote presses could end up paused behind the screen saver.

On tablets and touch screens, tapping a section tab in the Watch hub (Live TV, Satellite, Movies...) used to pop the channel list open instead of switching the tab. A tap on the tab bar now selects the tab, exactly like the remote does.

Live TV and Music are one-per-board by design (they own the remote and the room's audio player). The Add Widget dialog now shows which page already holds them and explains the limit with a clear message, instead of letting a second copy cause mysterious remote and audio conflicts.

A zone is no longer always a TV. Mark one Audio only - bathroom speakers, pool deck, spa - and video content stays off it automatically while music, radio and info keep playing. And a zone can now live inside a room: Room 101's bathroom or terrace shows grouped under Room 101 in the Rooms tab, with its own display URL and PIN like any other zone.

Reach your room cap and the dashboard says so right where you are working - with the numbers, next to the rooms list - and offers the choice: free a slot by disabling another room, swap in one click, or upgrade. If your plan ever shrinks below what is enabled, nothing goes dark by surprise: every room keeps working through a grace week while a banner shows exactly what is over and when it will be trimmed.

TV apps like Netflix keep their own logins - so at checkout the TV now shows a polite reminder asking the guest to sign out of their streaming accounts (with a tip that it also works remotely from their phone). You choose how long it shows, per board.

Live TV and video widgets now offer three choices for guest favourites at checkout: follow the board policy, always keep, or always wipe.

Dashboard edit dialogs now ask before discarding unsaved changes. Clicking outside a dialog, pressing Escape or hitting Cancel while an edit is in progress shows a confirmation instead of silently losing your typing - across boards, pages, themes, menus, widget settings and more - and the browser warns before a refresh too. Saving still closes without any prompt.

The Rooms tab gets checkboxes with select-all and a bulk delete, double-guarded: it recaps the selection, warns if any room is occupied, and only arms after you type DELETE. And deleting is no longer forever - rooms move to a Recently Deleted list and restore with one click, same URL and settings, so a TV still tuned to that room picks right back up. Each room also gains a remote control button that opens its remote page directly.

The Rooms management tab now speaks all 27 dashboard languages - statuses, dialogs, confirmations and the new delete/restore tools included. It was English-only before.

A guest can no longer see the previous guest's room-service orders - the order list is scoped to the current stay. Staff keep the full history.

Every Streaming Guide title has a Watch Trailer button that plays full-screen on the TV. The first press anywhere on the property prepares the trailer (about ten seconds - the button says "Preparing trailer..."); after that it plays instantly in every room from the local cache, which also keeps trailers playable offline. The cache looks after itself - no maintenance.

Pressing OK on a platform badge opens the native app from your board's Streaming Apps catalog. With signage APK 1.1.45 the hand-off goes deep-linked inside the app wherever the platform supports it, with a clean fall-back to opening the app on every other service.

While the My List filter is active on a catalog wall, the first Back press now restores the full wall (focus stays put); the next Back leaves the wall as before. One less trip to the bottom bar.

Every service widget can issue a private management link for your concierge or crew chief: menus, categories and live orders in one page, filterable by status, no dashboard account needed. Rotate the key at any time to kill every previously shared link, and the link always points at your production site - safe to paste into any chat. New orders can also notify by email.

The new News widget brings live headlines to any page, in the guest's language, across your chosen topics. Press OK on a headline and the article opens as clean, readable text right on the TV - no browser, no clutter. When a publisher will not allow TV reading, the guest gets a QR code to continue on their phone instead of a dead end. Headlines are served from a shared always-fresh cache, so every cabin sees news instantly - even right after a restart.

The new Stocks widget shows the indices and tickers you configure - S&P 500, FTSE MIB, anything - as elegant live cards with price and daily change, walkable with the remote for the details view.

One rule now governs the whole interface: if the arrows can reach it, OK activates it - news headlines, market cards, order rows, every key of the on-screen keyboard. Pages whose content is one of the new widgets highlight it the moment you arrive, no keypress needed, and Back hands the ring to the settings gear so display options are always one press away. Long lists scroll with the remote even past the last button.

The Room Service TV Zoom setting now applies on every display target - browser displays included - with the same crisp CSS zoom used on Fire TV. Existing layouts are untouched until you set a value.

With Sync devices in the same room switched on, changing the language on the tablet now changes it on the TV as well - until now the choice stayed on the device that made it. The language picker also matches the TV's styling on tablets, so a panel mounted beside a screen no longer looks like a different product.

A full theme audit: selection rings on display menus, dialog-style submenus and pop-up dialogs now follow your accent color - including dialogs that technically live outside the themed area - and the dashboard no longer freezes the default blue into menus while you edit.

Embedded web pages now handshake with the display: your own cooperating pages get full deep remote navigation, while foreign sites fall back to safe scrolling - and the detection is immune to load-order races, so it just works.

Search across TV and VOD now uses the one shared on-screen keyboard - identical layout, identical remote behavior, one place to improve it for every widget at once.

Keep holding Back or Menu to 6 seconds and the PIN-protected admin menu opens instead - even from inside a streaming app. Technicians no longer exit to the hotel menu first: one gesture vocabulary, every remote, every supported TV.

Any Photo Source widget can now be the screen saver: rotating Artvee artworks, Pexels or Pixabay photography, or your own uploaded images fill idle screens - no video loop required. Flip the new Use as Screen Saver toggle in the widget settings and the board takes it from there.

A board now has exactly one screen saver source, enforced across video and photo widgets alike: flagging a new one automatically releases the old, and copying or duplicating a flagged widget never silently creates a second. Idle screens always show the content you intended - nothing else.

Idle screens can now play ambience from a starred radio station. Guests keep the final say per display, the saver never interrupts music that is already playing, and the control sits right in the music player with clear guidance when no station is starred yet.

Card menus with a pinned grid now scroll when you add more tiles than fit. A 6 columns × 1 row launcher strip with ten services shows six full-size tiles and glides through the rest with the remote's Left / Right, keeping the highlighted card centered - no more squeezed second row. Works with touch and mouse drag too. Grids where everything fits look exactly as before.

The on-screen Network Info dialog (available as a menu special action) now wears the same frosted-glass look as the rest of the display and follows your board's theme. It also shows the display's Board Token and Room - so on-site staff can identify exactly which board and room a TV is bound to from the couch, no dashboard needed.

The display can no longer be led away from its own pages by stray links or pop-ups - it always stays on your content. And returning from a streaming app is instant: pressing Home snaps back to the hotel menu even seconds after the app was launched.

Beyond the four built-ins, you can now create and save custom display themes - your brand colors, your typography - and they appear in every theme picker, including the on-TV one. Once a board adopts a theme its displays keep that exact look permanently, even if the theme is edited afterwards - a running screen never shifts underneath a guest.

Widgets now follow the board theme's fonts, colors, and corner radius automatically when they don't set their own - so switching a theme visibly restyles the whole screen, not just the frames. Three display-grade font families joined the catalog: Montserrat, Poppins, and Outfit.

Two new tools for the rare stream that drifts audio out of sync on TV sticks. The Auto re-sync after buffering (WiFi sticks) toggle in the LiveTV settings performs a brief automatic re-sync whenever playback recovers from buffering - ideal for rooms on weaker WiFi. And for custom playlist curators: add tvg-resync="90" to a channel's line in your M3U and that channel gets a gentle automatic re-sync to the live edge every 90 seconds - for the stubborn feed that drifts no matter what. Both are off unless you enable them; everything else behaves exactly as before.

Troubleshooting a TV with no keyboard and no way to export logs used to be guesswork. The new Show Debug Overlay (diagnostics) toggle in the LiveTV settings renders a small live status panel directly on the screen - playback clock, decoded frames, player state, and the last automatic recovery action. Turn it on, photograph the TV, and the situation can be read at a glance. Remember to turn it off afterwards - guests can see it too.

A new Reorder Pages button next to the page tabs opens a dialog listing every page with up / down controls, hidden-page indicators, and your current page highlighted - much easier than dragging tabs around, especially on boards with many pages. The new order saves in a single step. The classic drag-the-tabs reorder still works exactly as before.

Menus with many items now have two bulk buttons above the items list - Translate all and Translate none - that flip the auto-translate switch on every item in one click. Each item's individual switch keeps working afterwards, so you can bulk-enable and then exempt the one or two labels that should stay literal (like a brand name).

On pages that open with an autoplay video, the menu could ignore Left / Right presses until the video had actually started playing. The remote now responds from the first moment the page appears.

On pages with more than one menu, the remote's starting focus now goes to the menu you have placed on top in the Layers panel (among menus with at least two items). Bring a menu to the front and that is where navigation begins - predictable, and under your control.

With the new channel rail, a Live TV widget sitting on a different page could silently swallow Left / Right presses everywhere on the board, leaving menus unresponsive. Arrow keys now always reach the menu you are actually looking at.

Menu color fields now open a proper picker instead of a bare text box: a Solid tab with a full color picker and a Gradient tab with preset gradient swatches, plus Reset-to-default and Apply buttons. No more hand-typing CSS gradient strings to get the look you want.

Seven new curated channel lists added to LiveTV: Arabic (Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, Sky News Arabia, DW Arabia and more), Turkish (TRT family), Korean (KBS World, Arirang), Hindi (Aaj Tak, ABP, India TV), Japanese (NHK World), Portuguese (RTP family), and Dutch (NPO + DW). Each list ships with up to five hand-picked stable channels so a guest from any of these markets has a reliable starting point.

The Add Widget dialog now has a search box at the top and splits widgets into Free and Premium tabs with live counts. Searching narrows both tabs at once; if a tab becomes empty for your search, the dialog auto-switches you to the other. If your account doesn't include premium widgets at all, the Premium tab is hidden entirely.

The LiveTV widget now has a clickable menu button in its control strip on PC, so you can open the language / category / favourites / help menu with the mouse. Previously this menu was only reachable via the keyboard or remote menu key. The remote and keyboard shortcuts still work as before.

When a page has more than one menu widget (typically a top "Information" button row plus a bottom "Welcome / TV / Weather" strip), only the menu currently being navigated shows its highlight. Press up to switch focus to the top menu, the bottom strip dims; press down to switch back. Each menu remembers where you were when you return.

On Fire TV, the "Energy saving" pill now bounces continuously across the entire screen instead of jumping between fixed corners. This sweeps protection across every pixel of the panel. On desktop the pill keeps its calmer corner-rotation behaviour.

The Layers panel now distinguishes between hiding a widget on the public display (the eye icon, persists for guests) and hiding it temporarily while editing (a new edit-eye icon, only affects your editor view). Use the editor-hide to declutter a busy layout while you work on one widget, without affecting what guests see. The state lives in your browser tab and clears when you close it.

When you paste a widget, it now lands on top of any overlapping widgets so it's immediately visible and clickable. Previously it could end up underneath an existing widget and force you to use the Layers panel to bring it forward.

Fixed a server error that could appear when uploading a background image to a page that already had certain settings configured. Background uploads now save reliably regardless of the page's prior settings.

The LookVay Signage APK now installs and runs on Google TV devices (Chromecast with Google TV, Onn 4K Pro, recent Sony/Hisense TVs) alongside the existing Fire TV support. The same single APK detects which platform it's on and adapts: navigation, kiosk mode, the long-press admin shortcut, and the on-TV admin menu all behave identically across both platforms. One build, two device families.

Rotating a master PIN or a room PIN immediately invalidates any active session for that gate, so a guest who already typed in the old PIN is asked again on their next interaction. Useful when a stay ends mid-day and the next guest arrives in a few hours - one click in the dashboard cuts off the previous session cleanly.

The PIN entry screen on the room display is fully localized in English and Italian (with the rest of the supported languages following the room's language setting where applicable). The board's hotel name appears above the keypad so guests know which property they're connecting to.

Some pages should never drift or dim - precision-aligned signage, interactive widgets, or pages where any visible affordance is unwanted. A new toggle in each page's settings lets you exempt that page individually while the rest of the board stays protected.

On TV pages, only the static chrome (channel info, menu strip, logos) drifts - the live video itself is left untouched, so no playback artifacts. When the regular screen saver kicks in, burn-in protection automatically suspends and hands over.

The floating pill that signals protection-active is on by default but can be hidden completely for installations where any visible affordance is unwanted (signage walls, museum displays). One toggle in Display Settings.

When a guest leaves the LiveTV page to check the weather or browse the menu and comes back, their last channel auto-resumes immediately - no need to re-pick from the strip. The locale-language row also gets priority placement at the top, so guests in their own language see relevant channels first.

Fire TV's built-in auto-update mechanism could occasionally trigger an unexpected reboot or app stoppage on a kiosk, leaving the room TV blank until staff intervention. Auto-updates are now disabled at kiosk-setup time so the device stays predictable - software updates are deployed centrally and on demand instead.

The Plex FAST channel catalog is now rebuilt automatically every day from the upstream source. If a channel changes its stream URL or a new one appears in Plex's lineup, every hotel installation picks up the change overnight without any manual file copying.

When a guest opens the LiveTV page for the first time, the channel selection strip now properly auto-hides after a few seconds of no input - matching the behaviour after every subsequent interaction. Cleaner first impression, no need to wait for the guest to press a button before the screen settles.

In addition to videos, guests can now save entire categories to their Favourites tab for quick re-access. Long-press OK on a category just like on a channel or video. Categories appear with their own thumbnail and are de-duplicated so saving the same one twice does nothing wrong.

Scroll position is now correctly restored when adding or removing favourites, when returning from a video, or when leaving the Favourites view back to the main list. The Back button reliably exits the Favourites view even when no favourites remain, and the pagination footer is hidden inside the Favourites view (where it doesn't apply).

When a guest navigates away from the LiveTV page and comes back, the last channel they were watching now resumes automatically. The cursor also lands on the correct row (favourites, language, or curated) instead of always snapping back to the top.

The channel strip now orders rows as Favourites -> Language -> Curated -> Custom Playlists. Guest favourites come first, their own-language channels sit right below, and the hotel's curated picks are always a short scroll away.

The dashboard editor could show your board in the wrong theme: previewing a theme once - even without saving - left a hidden marker in the browser that dressed every later editing session (and the theme picker highlight) in that theme, with no visible way to clear it. It could also leak into a display opened in the same browser. The editor now always shows your board's saved theme, previews live only while you are choosing, and never touches what a guest picked on a screen.

Choosing None as a page background and pressing Update failed with Error updating page, and the page kept whatever background it had. The dashboard had offered None for a long time while the server accepted only colour, image or service - so the one option it refused was the one that clears the background. It saves now, and it means what it says: a page set to None paints no background at all - the screen behind your widgets stays black, under any theme. To follow the theme instead, pick the new Use theme color option.

A word that reads the same in the guest's language as it does in English - Relax, Cinema, Dimmer, Suite - could be replaced on screen by an older automatic translation: an Italian screen showed Rilassati on a scene whose name is Relax. The wording we ship for each language is now used exactly as written, whether or not it happens to match the English, and only a name we have never seen is sent to be translated at all.

Translated names are longer than English ones, and the room-control screens used to move to fit them: a row of areas or scenes would spill onto a second line and push everything below it down, and on the longest names the card itself could run past the edge of the panel. Those rows now scroll sideways instead of growing - the side that continues is gently faded so you can see there is more, and the item you are on slides itself into view. Whatever the language, the controls stay exactly where your hand expects them.

Changing language while a room-control screen was open left part of it behind - the buttons and titles switched, but room, device and scene names stayed in the previous language until you left the screen and came back. Every name now follows the switch immediately.

The confirmation that appears before a party starts or ends changed shape with what it had to say - one room made a small box, three made a large one, and every language made a different one again. It is now one fixed size, in the same place, with a longer list of rooms scrolling inside it.

Switching on the AV in your own room could light the party mark on your screen, with nothing shared and no party running. A party takes at least two rooms playing - the cabins taking part already read it that way, and the room that starts one now reads it the same. Turn on your own music and the mark stays dark, as it should.

In any language other than English, the same room could appear translated on one line and in English on the chip right above it - one room wearing two names on one screen. Every place a room name is drawn on the room-control screens now reads from the same translation, so a room is called one thing throughout, on all four control screens.

On a Fire TV, the power button on the Climate page - and the mute button on the Entertainment master column - could draw as an empty box instead of the symbol, while the same page on a computer looked correct. The TV's fonts simply do not carry those two characters. Both buttons are now drawn as icons rather than typed as text, so they look the same on every screen and can never go missing again.

A party genuinely playing in three rooms could read 2 of 3, because one zone had never reported back and the screen counted that silence as "switched off". The two are now told apart, exactly as every device row already does: a room that has never answered is marked with a ? beside its name and in the count, and a party where nothing has answered reads Unknown instead of Off. Off means go and switch the room on; a ? means that room is not reporting back - a different job, and now a visible one.

A photo widget cycling through artwork is the room's ambience - but the screen saver and the energy-saving dim treated it as an idle screen and covered it anyway. Rotating photos now keep both away, exactly like a playing video already does. The protection stays where it matters: a photo that stops changing - rotation set to Never, paused, or a fixed uploaded logo - still lets them engage, so a still image can never sit burning into the panel. A new Allow screen saver and energy saving switch in the widget's settings turns them back on for rotating photos too.

In the art photo widget, Artist Rotation looked painters up by their display name - and names with accents or unusual gallery addresses ("Édouard Manet", "Pierre-Paul Prud'hon") were silently skipped, with a run of misses able to pause every art widget on the property for a minute at a time. Artist names now resolve to the gallery's real addresses, so every artist appears in the rotation and one unknown name can never interrupt the others.

Adding a premium widget (AI Assistant, Live Stream and friends) on Essential, Plus or Elite could be refused with "Premium subscription required" - even though those plans include them. A subscription flag was being lost on save, and two permission checks disagreed about what it meant. The flag is now stored correctly, every check follows one rule, and premium widgets add normally on every plan that includes them.

The on-screen keyboard could show two highlights - its own and the remote's - with OK typing the wrong key or nothing. The keyboard now follows the remote's focus exactly: one ring, and OK always types the key it sits on.

Moving the ring inside a panel or keyboard could nudge and scroll the page underneath it. Panels now scroll only their own content - the world behind an overlay never moves again.

At higher accessibility zoom, the room-service keyboard and the weather "add location" panel could push past the screen edge with no way to reach them. Panels now cap to the screen and scroll inside; the weather add view drops its large preview while typing so the keyboard always fits.

Opening a submenu from the board menu on certain pages (for example Explore) did nothing, because a video chooser on the page beneath was silently holding the remote. Menus inside the overlay can no longer be muted by anything under it.

A tiny "0" could appear at the top of some pages on non-touch screens - a device-detection value leaking into the layout. Detection now returns clean booleans on every device profile.

A developer overlay ("waiting for events...") could appear on card videos even with debugging off. It now renders only when the debug setting is on.

Roku channels stopped playing for a few days when the upstream provider added a new authentication step on their CDN. The proxy was updated to honour the new requirement, and all Roku channels are back live without any change at the hotel.

The Weather menu item briefly displayed "Weather" instead of "Meteo" on Italian-language displays. Now correctly localized.

After an automatic recovery on the underlying browser surface, the channel strip occasionally re-rendered with the highlight on the wrong row. The strip now consistently scrolls back to the previously highlighted channel.

After deleting all favourites in the adult widget, pressing Back occasionally got stuck on an empty list. Back now reliably exits the Favourites view back to the main browse list.

Rapid channel switching during the background channel load could occasionally trigger a WebView reload on Fire TV. LiveTV now throttles channel changes, yields to the renderer between provider fetches, and shows a tiny corner spinner while the rest of the catalog loads. Much steadier on budget Fire TV Sticks.

Fixed a case where hovering off a channel without a logo and returning to it would briefly show a wrong or broken logo in the preview panel. Logos are now correctly tied to the specific channel.

Channel and video titles imported from upstream feeds no longer show literal "&" or "’" text - all standard HTML entities are now decoded cleanly before display.

Desktop right-click to open the widget settings/copy/delete menu is now restricted to the widget's title bar, so it no longer collides with widgets that have their own internal right-click actions (like text editors). The 3-dot menu still works everywhere.

Some HD channel streams using newer video codecs were pixelated or wouldn't play on budget Android TV sticks. HtlApp now detects the device's capabilities and falls back to the system's native video decoder where hardware-level HLS decoding is available, restoring clean playback.

Fixed a regression where LiveTV could play video without audio on Fire TV after a system WebView update. The player now correctly restores sound and starts unmuted by default on TV devices.

Fixed "Render process unresponsive" freezes when opening the channel list on Fire TV with large catalogs. The fix was a full move to windowed rendering so only a small set of channels is ever in the DOM at a time.

Fixed Fire TV remote D-pad commands not reaching in-room widgets through the APK WebView. Up/Down/OK/Back now consistently trigger widget navigation, channel switching, and menu actions.

Fixed a regression where certain USB wireless keyboard remotes (Microsoft-branded and similar) stopped controlling LiveTV channel navigation. All standard keyboard-like input devices work again.

Fixed the brief flash where the display briefly appeared oversized before settling to the correct fullscreen scale on Fire TV boot. The scale is now computed inline on first paint, eliminating the visible jump.
